Has anyone purchased, or used, an iPod back up program to return songs from your iPod back onto your pc? I'm trying to find a free one that allows me to quickly transfer stuff, but everything is "free trial! Get the pro version to transfer more than 1 at a time!" crap. Or, if anyone has bought one of these programs, what did you get? How did it work?

I'm getting rid of my iPod. It barely holds a charge for an hour, despite having paid $40 for a new battery about a year ago. It's a 3rd gen and it's filled to the brim with my music. I really don't want to lose all of the music I have on there, particularly the song details and stuff.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, oh my technical savvy FList.

I so would, too :D

Ok, so more updates on Book 7 party. I visited both the DG and Naperville locations. The one in N has the bigger draw because it's in a much bigger down town setting. Not to mention the nightlife in N is soooo much better than DG. But the DG store has a smaller ticket number. Each pre-order gets a ticket with a number on it. I got numbers 290, 292 and 293. At the N store they're already up to 800. I wouldn't get my book until 2 am, like I had at Oak Park. So what I've decided is that we'll party it up in N and then around 11 we'll head back to DG to get our books. It's only a 20 minute drive, so it should be just fine.

Phone, e-mail, comments. Anything. The quicker you get to me, the faster I can go get you a ticket, the happier you'll be that you'll be getting your book before all the other ppl in N.

I'm not sure if there will be enough time to throw a party at my place ... I'll have to think about that one a little more.
