Everything is done, most of it is packed. Now it's time to clean, run out for a few very last minute things, and then sit and chill for a bit until I go to school and stock up on drinks/food for the room. Then we're off to the hotel! And I won't be around until late Sunday. w00t. If any of y'all are going, give me a ring (630.440.0986). If you see a trail of feathers around the hotel, follow it and you'll probably find me there.

I'm not super happy with Vincent's claw, but it'll have to do. My fingers are going to be very stiff come Sunday morning, but at least I have some articulation. No matter what, I will never be happy with my costumes. Damn perfectionist in me says I need to lose 80 pounds, gain about 7 inches in height and get a dick in order to be the perfect Vincent. But, I'll see what sort of reaction I get during the day. I may not do the masq, just because I don't like having to wait for like, 3 hours just to be on stage for all of 30 seconds and *maybe* win something. I swear, though. If Barb and Julia come in their Rydia and Rose costumes and compete in them, I will boo them with every fiber of my being. There seriously should be a rule for competing in multiple con masqs in the same costume, especially if you've won something in them ... and if you're Barb and Julia. I can understand how it would be hard to enforce that, but especially people like Barb and Julia who EVERYONE knows are good cosplayers. It's just really unfair to those that aren't "professional" costume makers. Y'know, people that still have to go to school and work on top of making a costume.

And it has begun ... Eurobeat King already has 3 photos up on ... of the sign over River Rd. that says "Anime Central". *squees*

Bunneh, I gotcher check. The note seemed really appropriate. Looks like I'm not going to hell after all ^_^
