Harry Potter and the Car on Fire

Well, it is THE day. GoF day. I got home this morning at 4:30 am, deciding to just drive home instead of stay overnight at Dana's and sleep in catsville. Besides, there were 2 other people sleeping over, it was just a little too crowded. And on the way home, I was worried more about the people going 100 mph down 290 than me not being able to get home due to sleepiness. Chain smoked the whole way to keep me awake. And just before getting off the high way, this white grand prix comes barreling past me ... on fire. I kid you not. It was billowing smoke out from underneith, the flames were coming out of the bottom. I don't think the driver knew his car was on fire, either. I slowed down, to give him room in case he blew up or something ...

Navy Pier IMAX was rather dull this time around. There were a very small handful of costumers, we were the only 'crazies' of the bunch. But, the good news is we got interviewed and followed with the cameras a lot. A few little jr high girls screamed when we walked into the theater dressed as Death Eaters. The strap on my mask broke just as we were leaving Dana's apartment. We took the bus and got all sorts of strange looks. A lot of cars honked as we walked down Michigan ave. God damn those cloaks, very difficult to walk in (at least for me) in windy situations.

Anyways, what you've all been waiting for (I'm sure). My spoiler heavy Collapse )

Overall, I was very tired and didn't know what to think of it all. I'm going to go out right now and find a theater that's playing it and go see it again, when I've had a good sleep. Then, maybe I'll go look for a ... job.
