For Wbe Design 1, we're suppose to show Shiro that we can make a web page that has links and stuff on it. So he told us to make a website of our resumes. He didn't say it had to be our own resumes, just a resume. So, I'm making Harry Potter's resume. It was due on Monday, but I wasn't around. And I decided not to go to class on Wed because ... I just wasn't feelin' it.

Instead, I caught up with Dana and her friend Katie. I was coming back into the city to go to the Loop campus book store to buy the book I need to read for class tonight (quiz! SHIT! :O ). On top of buying my school books, I found a Nightmare Before Christmas translated manga. By Disney ... but it had the Japanese sound effects still in it, untranslated. So I bought it. And at the register, I found something called 'Sushi in a Box' which was just a little soy sauce bowl, mini chopsticks, fake grass, and a bamboo mat thing, with a little book explaining how to make sushi. Quite neat, I might say. Considering it's hard for me to find a suitable soy sauce bowl for when I get sushi at school, I thought this would be perfect.

I called Dana up, they just left H&M and were planning on eating at Food Life. Caught up with them. Ate some delicious Thai and drank oregon chai tea (OMG soo good, haven't had chai in a while). We then hopped over to Border's, so I could buy a paperback version of OotP for my daily commute. I didn't know Border's sold untranslated manga ... they had SamCham vol 1 which caught my eye. Got my book, found a neat bookmark of Priori Incantatum. Then, we headed to the Apple Store, where Dana bought herself a new 20g iphoto and a carrying case. With her student discount, she got hers for about $270 instead of $300.

Then I got to thinking about just buying the HP iPod with the ebooks ... the next time I have, like ... $600 magically drop out of the sky and land in my lap.

Then, we went to Virgin, where we found a few shirts we thought Daniel would like. I saw a purse I thought was pretty neat, but decided not to buy it for it's $60 price tag. We looked around the game section for We <3 Katamari, couldn't find it. Katie had to leave, we went back by Dana's place, headed over to the Best Buy near her house. I got new headphones and We <3 Katamari, Dana got a Killers and Fall Out Boy CD. We headed back to her place, I played a bit of Katamari, then I headed on the bus and then home. Wee! Exciting, isn't it?

I read the book I needed to for Philosophy today, all about Gilgamesh. Wasn't bad, except that people on the train were looking at me funny, like I wasn't suppose to be reading that book or something *shrug* Had a few homosexual undertones ... or maybe that was just my mind pushing past the 'they're brothers, but not REALLY brothers ...' thing.

Ah, NOW it's a month until YCon ... *twitch* And Dana tells me yesterday that she wants me to make us Dress Robes for the John Williams Concert ... -_-

John Williams concert is a bust. There's one seat left. ONE. Just one. In the very back. I wanted to go with friends. And I don't want to be stuck in the back.

All my hopes for it have been shattered ... why did NO ONE tell me about this earlier?
