So, being the pyromaniac that I am, I decided to do something about that today. Just now in fact. I took the fabric I bought for kozi and cut out a swatch and held it a good 4 or 5 inches away from a burning candle. The result it a very unique bunched up melted texture. I think I'm going to use this in combination with the ruching technique some amazing soul on cosplay sent me a scanned page from a text book on the proper technique.

I've got big plans the 2 weeks that I'm off for Spring break! All of which will include a lot of sewing. And I mean a LOT. If Fuu isn't done by the end of Spring Break, I will be TEH SADS.

And just a quickie, but does anyone know if they sell something called "under wonder" at local fabric shops? It basically turns whatever fabric you iron onto one side into a sort of iron on fabric. You peel off the nonironed side and stick it to another piece of fabric and iron that on. I think it would be a good way to do Fuu, if bleeching doesn't work. But bleeching will definitely be the first choice for the moment. I don't think I could find that fabric in a lighter shade. It's such a unique, hard to find shade ...

Oh well, I think the sewing bug has finally kicked in!
