(no subject)

Every time I sneeze, my back gets a nice jolt of pain. And it really is hard not to sneeze when you have a face full of Die-chan butt, face, stomach, etc. She was fucking EVIL last night. I swear I've never seen a cat so goddamn hyper. We need to give her some ritalin or something. Or I'm sleeping on the couch. I'd much rather deal with Susu than with Die-chan. Susu still hisses at her, but we've gotten them in the same room together and they've kept their distance. Die is the one that is freaking Susu out. Die wants nothing more than to PLAYPLAYPLAYPLAYPLAYPLAYmeowPLAY. Susu has sort of lost her kitty-ness and now all she wants to do is sleep. I think she's denying her motherly duties, since she's been gone from the kittens for so long. I know if I was Die's mom, I would hiss at her too. STOP ALL THAT FUCKING MEOWING! Oh, and she loves to play with the blinds, and jump on my dresser and knock shit off, and eat the posters, and the tape holding the posters. GIVE IT A REST!

As much as I think she is adorable ... her energy is just so non-stop, it's pissing me off. I barely got any sleep last night. Now, I'm a light sleeper. Even if I hear Susu jumping off her perch onto my desk, I'll wake up. So, having a kitten in the bedroom all night, crying for hours on end, not sleeping, climbing on every goddamn thing in the room ... that gets really annoying. Not to mention, if she pisses on my clothes, I will be MORE than unhappy about it. Jen said she pissed on the floor yesterday, but she managed to get her clothes out of the way before she did.

*sigh* Jap Rel paper: DONE! Food Culture paper: more than 1/2 way there, and it's not even due until Wed! WOW! I kinda just ... want to go home, away from Die, but not away from Susu. I don't even know what we're doing with them while we're at home for the holiday. Jen's obviously still got school, but I'm off for a month now. And it's a terrible waste of rent money, but my parents want me to get a jorb in the 'burbs. They said UPS Store was hiring. I hope they pay well ...

Even though I'm boycotting Christmas, this can technically go for my Birthday ...

... which is 4 days away ... god, I'm getting old :O

Step One

Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered, whichever you're comfortable with) to your journal. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all -- something simple and practical for the medium (fanfiction, journal layout, icon, etc.); to medium-sized (DVD, CD, a smallish physical gift around ten or twenty dollars); or something large (computer, television ... angsty bishounen). The important thing is to make sure that these wishes are all things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fanfiction or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your entry, whether it's your address or just your e-mail address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, or link to this post so that the holiday joy can spread.

Step Two

Surf around your friends list (or friend's friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. Now, here's the important part.

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure -- if you have something you don't want that someone else does, something you won't use, or know where you can get something they want.

You don't need to spend any money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to give everyone the chance to be someone else's holiday elf and spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously (Secret Santa) or not -- it's your call.

There are no rules with this, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just wish and it might come true -- give and you might receive. And you will come away with the feeling of having made someone's holiday special.
